เช้าวันนี้ (10 มี.ค.) เจ้าหน้าที่พบวัตถุต้องสงสัยบริเวณแยกการเรือน ซึ่งใกล้สถานที่สำคัญหลายแห่ง อาทิ มูลนิธิพลเอกเปรม ติณสูลานนท์ รัฐบุรุษ และอาคารรัฐสภา หลังตรวจสอบทราบว่า เป็นเพียงระเบิดปลอมเพื่อสร้างสถานการณ์เท่านั้น
